Eff the Ineffable || Azuremyst US

Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

I have a reCaptcha key installed but it's not working with our current style. The preview in Admin control panel shows up fine but nothing shows up on the registration page when I have anti spam measures enabled.

I just tried this find/replace fix, didn't work either.

Gonna have to figure something out, we had like 25 spambots register since the 25th of Dec.

You guys have the FTP info if needed in that Google Doc.

I've gone and did a cursory forum tree based on the general guidelines Alas set out.

I also set up some basic user groups. Guild Member, Guild Friend, Officer, and Guild Leader. These last two will be functionally the same if I get everything set up right, but lets forum users know who has what rank. People can be members of more than one user group. For example I have At as a Guild Member, Administrator and Officer while Alas is Guild Member, Administrator and Guild Leader. The idea is that you set permissions to forums based on group and just dump people into the appropriate groups, and it doesn't matter if they have conflicting permissions since PHPBB3 always goes towards more freedom when in conflict. So while an Officer can see officer quarters a guild member shouldn't be able to, and At as member of both groups would have access to officer.

It makes more logical sense in my mind to set up permissions that way that individual.

That sounds like the format for permissions I would have used if I had time to mess with it. Thanks so much for your help getting this place cozy and put together!

Oh, in case it wasn't apparent, I made is so that when we have a guest on the site that is not signed in, they will see the subsilver style template so that my user registration stuff using Peoplesign anti spam measures show up, and once they are registered, it switches to the WoW theme. I don't have the time myself to make the WoW theme registration page work with the anti-spam stuff. If anyone else wants to take a stab at it, you're welcome to. I just did what I had to do to make 1) normal person registration work and 2) the wow theme to work for registered users.

Actually I changed my user theme to subsilver2 all the time so it blends in better with work related stuff. I would choose the prosilver theme, but that seemed borked for some reason.
